Pastor Steven speaks on what it means to “sow to the Spirit” through the lessons he has learned from planting a meadow on his farm.
Speaker: Steven Schiltz
In our conversation about generosity, it is important to keep in mind the Kingdom principle of stewardship and how these two (seemingly opposed) concepts work together to bring about fullness in our lives.
Pastor Steven keeps the conversation on generosity going with a focus on how our thinking might be a limiting factor for why we aren’t applying generosity in our lives.
In the last part of our “What Would Jesus Think?” series, Pastor Steven introduces how to steward the mind of Christ in our lives through a process called, “The Jesus Stack”.
In the third part of our WWJT series, Pastor Steven talks about the fact that we have been given the mind of Christ, which begs the question, “What are you doing with that gift?”
In the second part of our WWJT series, Pastor Steven discusses how we are called to live above our experiences and introduces daily habits for renewing our minds.
“What Would Jesus Think?” In this first sermon of a new series, Pastor Steven digs into this question. Because if we want to live the way Jesus lived, we need to start by thinking the way Jesus thought.
Jesus was able to model perfect integrity for us in his words and actions because He had perfect integrity in His thoughts. When we sow competing thought patterns in our minds, such as hope and doubt, we find ourselves spinning in circles.
Pastor Steven poses the question, “How do we miss God in our lives?” When we allow our expectations, distractions, and mis-directions in life to overshadow what God is doing, we miss out on the daily miracles of God.
Pastor Steven continues the conversation about spiritual sight and hearing in a message about our need to stay desperate for God’s presence in our lives.
